I have fallen in love and here’s my story…

“One night, I met Roseann Higgins of Especially Selective (formally known as SPIES Single Professional Introductions for the Especially Selective matchmaking service) at a private party in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I was immediately attracted to her genuineness and openness to know me. Not to mention that she is a stunningly, beautiful woman herself! In my mid-30s, I was newly divorced and had moved to the desert from the Midwest. In my quest to experience new things, I attended Scottsdale’s premier events, social mixers and canvassed the nightlife with my girlfriends.

During my conversation with Roseann, I mentioned that her matchmaking service to connect successful, quality, attractive people is an inspiring and worthwhile concept. I am very particular of whom I meet. I feel I’ve earned it. The Wedding Proposal

“We were having dinner at a private table at our favorite restaurant at the Phoenician Resort.

We had a glass of champagne. We don’t really drink champagne.

We toasted to one year of meeting and great things to come.

The waiter came over with a silver tray and a white napkin over it. I thought it was going to be strawberries or something. He uncovered it and slid this box with a white bow to my serving area.

He (her handsome boyfriend in the photo) got down on one knee and asked,

“If I promise to make you the happiest girl for the rest of your life, 

would you marry me?”

I was blind-sided. He was about to move. I thought (he’d propose) towards the end of the year. I didn’t answer him for a second.

He asked, “Is that a yes?”

“Actually, no, it’s a hell yes!!”

He gave me the ring,” she excitedly finished.

Happily Ever Afters

Their fairytale wedding was one you see in magazines. I had dinner with the newlyweds at the trendy St. Francis restaurant in Phoenix. Adorably, he spent a couple minutes telling me about his new life and how grateful he was. He said genuinely, “Roseann, I never knew marriage could be this amazing.” This –from a very handsome, manly, world-traveling CEO with lots of employees, who loves fast cars and played my guitar during his initial interview as I discovered what kind of girl to find for him. No wonder she calls him precious.
