To all the ships at sea
And all the ports of call.

To my family
And to all friends and strangers.

This is a message
And a prayer.

The message is that my travels taught me a great truth.

I already had what everyone is searching for
And few ever find.
The one person in the world who I was born to love forever.

A person, like me, of the Outer Banks
And the blue Atlantic mystery.

A person rich in simple treasures.
Self made.
Self taught.

A harbor where I am forever home.

No wind
Or trouble
Or even a little death can knock down this house.

A prayer is that everyone in the world can know this kind of love
And be healed by it.

Personal Letter for Especially Selective Men and Women

Welcome!

I’m glad you’re here. It means you’re a lot like the people I work with. You’re a doer. They’re doers. They can get dates. When they want things done, they often hire an expert. To our clients, hiring someone who’s been to hundreds of events and handpicked and gotten to know the single ones they’d love to meet makes sense.

By attending events with speakers like Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, the late Walter Cronkite, Colin Powell and Tony Robbins; being involved in charities; recruiting with a booth at the Phoenix Open; sponsoring the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix Taste 16 years; speaking at Women’s Expos and Chambers of Commerce; networking at breakfasts, seminars and mixers; and keeping an eye out wherever we go, we are constantly meeting the most eligible men and women to introduce to you.

Television, radio and print media have been reporting on SPIES’ unique matchmaking methods and its progress since the first story aired on FOX-TV Evening News in 1994. They reported, “If men are from Mars and women are from Venus, you’ll probably find Roseann Higgins roaming both planets trying to match up her clients.”

An Arizona Republic reporter shadowed me at an event with 1,000 people at the Phoenix Art Museum went further, “Higgins bags phone numbers the way Randy Johnson racks up strikeouts. She just might be the best-connected woman in the Valley. Clearly, this is no ordinary dating service.”

From here on out, you get to work with me, personally.

Since founding SPIES in 1994, we’ve been making laser-targeted, personal introductions of the most eligible single men and women in the southwest United States for dating, relationships and marriage.

Based in Phoenix, Arizona, most of the people we introduce live here. However, some do fly in or have a second home in Phoenix or Scottsdale.

There’s been a groundswell of interest in SPIES’ matchmaking. It’s necessitating building a brand new website with features no one in the dating service industry is doing.

I love being on the leading edge of an industry. When I created SPIES in 1994, nobody was headhunting, using executive recruiting techniques. After learning in the girls’ focus group (I had to host guy and girl focus groups separately to learn what each wanted in a service and the opposite sex with complete honesty and to not give away future inventory), the women I knew men most wanted to meet said they didn’t want to join a dating service. I created the job title “romance headhunter”(SM). It paid off. I get people exactly, or as close to it as I can come, what they’re both looking for.

One CEO interviewed by a Scottsdale magazine told them, “Rather than buck shot, hiring Roseann to find someone for you is like precision rifle shooting.”  I was an Expert marksman in the Navy. Precision rifle shooting is definitely a skill. I do hone in on targets and acquire them, if they are worthy of acquisition. If they’re not nice or they’re gold diggers, they get cast back into the pond.

I’ve attended hundreds of events since 1994. I have a dozen boxes of event programs, name tags and business cards from the 30,000 people I’ve met to prove it. And those have resulted in 7,000 interviews to pull the best lineup of prescreened dates from when a new client hires us. “Roseann, I would go out with any one of them,” is what the last client said after seeing his lineup.

It’s a good event if I find just two or three people who match what our especially selective clientele are looking for.

I have clients on speed dial. Some introductions happen right away if I find someone really open and a perfect match. You have to take advantage of a narrow window. You never know what awaits them tomorrow.

Like this pretty marathoner I started talking with on the trail. She was so open and sincere and pretty. She was definitely one-in-a-million. I learned she was an artist. She let me take a picture with her right there and sent me more information and photos. So on my way out of there, I’m speed dialing this really successful 33-year-old who likes to run. He was definitely interested. He knows I only call with serious possibilities.

That’s how it works in some cases.

Most cases, I actually do a two-hour interview and get a four-page questionnaire filled out. I spend time getting to know people to give you personal insights. You get access to everything you’d want to know. Well, almost.

Plus, you get to preview recent full-length and close-up photos to see who you have chemistry with. That’s when the fun begins. When you see your first lineup? That’s when you get to see how awesome the women I can introduce you to really are. If you are a woman interested in hiring us, I do know exceptional men. However, more men hire me to conduct a search than women.

SPIES is a boutique agency. We work with a small group of the most eligible clientele. As a headhunter, I can approach anyone and they don’t have to become a client.

By lasering in each search, over 50 people have fallen in love with the very first person they were introduced to. With hundreds of committed relationships, nearly 150 people have married. With your guidance, I usually hit it within the first three introductions.

If I were you and I was picky and busy and eligible and single and could afford to hire a headhunter for my personal life? I wouldn’t waste another day.
